Go to NOAA's Paleoclimatology website and database portal and select one of the paleoclimatology research methods (ie. tree rings, fauna, etc.)

1.  Explain to me (and your classmates) your climatology research method:

a)  What data does this method?

b)  What kind of data does you method collect which is useful for climate study and what climate data can NOT be measured using your method?

c)  What is the relationship between the data (like tree ring diameter) and climate?

d)  Provide at least one diagram/image of "data" gathered your way (like the image of the tree rings for studying climate with trees) which shows how to interpret this kind of data.

2.  Build a "data image" of your own using, data from your research method to make a line graph (of you are measuring CO2, methane, temperature), a timeline (if you are measuring fauna or insects) or a series of maps or kitegraphs, if you are measuring pollen.  NOTE: these are not mandated but only suggestsed methods.

3.  Please upload the Excel spreadsheet used to make your graph to this wiki and put a link to your data on your wiki page.

*please reference your images and information; URLs are fine
